Private Lessons

Private instruction is the best way for any student to reach their full potential. Having taught privately for over ten years, my knowledge and experiences are a valuable resource for students who are serious about succeeding in music and reaching the next level in their musical development. Many of my students have placed very well in regional honor bands and have gone on to study music at the collegiate level. Lessons focus on musicianship, building a strong fundamental base, literature in various styles, and competition preparation. No matter what instrument you play, I am available to teach jazz style and improvisation to anyone who is interested in learning. Online lessons are also available through Skype and Zoom. Recording 

Having recorded with many different bands, I am available to record on any project that needs a solid and consistent trumpet player. Whether it is straight ahead jazz, salsa, or Top 40, I am well versed in a variety of styles. Read 5 star reviews from previous clients.

Composition/Arranging/Orchestration/Transcription/ Copying

Want music specifically tailored to your ensemble? Commissioning a piece of music written for your group is an excellent way to showcase the talents of your ensemble members. I have written and arranged music for the USAF Band Reserve Brass Quintet (Warner Robbins, GA), college and high school jazz ensembles, blues bands, salsa bands, and swing bands to name a few. Guest Artist

Whether it is big band, jazz combo, or concert band, having a guest artist can enhance your concert with excitement and flair. My performance styles can work in any ensemble setting and make your concert event memorable and entertaining.

Weddings

Enhance your wedding with the sound of the trumpet. Music for the prelude, processional, recessional, postlude, and exit music adds that memorable touch to your ceremony. 

Masterclasses/ Workshops

Have a working professional rehearse and adjudicate your concert band, jazz ensemble, brass section, or trumpet section. Masterclasses are available where I discuss everything from how to overcome bad playing habits to what it takes to make it in the music industry today. These classes offer students the chance to ask questions and gain an insight into what it means to be a professional musician.

Whether it is two or five pieces, contact me to put together a professional horn section that will add that extra power and excitement to your music.
